The final count: 242 zombies in Vancouver, and over 23,000 worldwide. Wow!! Not to mention the fact that we raised over $3090 (participants alone) for the Food Bank and I haven’t been in touch with them about how much was raised among spectators... so cool. Thanks for taking part! Your friends can still donate online at http://www.foodbank.bc.ca/main/?donate (include “Thrill The World Vancouver” as the company name). Also, if you taped coverage of TTW Vancouver (on the news, etc.), I’d love to have a copy!
Of course, there’s still one more chance to dance the dance at the Thrill The World Vancouver After Party, happening this Friday, October 30th at the Billy Bishop Legion (1407 Laburnum St.). The party is hosted by Ceroc Vancouver, Vancouver’s best social dance lessons, and features two dance lessons (first one at 8 pm, doors open at 7:30) and cheap drinks. Admission is free with a TTW flyer, or email me to get on the guestlist.
Thrill The World is obviously a global event, and Ines Markelle, the creator and director of Thrill The World, wrote this letter to all dancers to thank you for participating.

Also, if you have any feedback for her about the event, she would love you to fill out a quick online survey at http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dGFSVC10czV4VV9JQm.... Vancouver’s Event ID is 30127.
Finally, you obviously heard me go into a bit of panic at Thrill Time, mumbling something about a conference call. There was supposed to be a conference call countdown from Ines that I was going to play on the speakers, and I spent the ten minutes before Thrill Time frantically trying to log into it. Unfortunately, it didn’t actually work for ANYONE around the world, which is a bit of a personal relief (I was very confident that I had the right info but also slightly worried that I’d screwed something up... phew). We don’t expect that it’s going to affect our world record bid though, which is great news.
Until next year! Thrill The World Vancouver 2010 is Saturday, October 23 at 9:30 pm.
Thrill on Vancouver!
