Thrill The World Vancouver was another huge success in 2010, with a whopping 286 zombies descending upon the Roundhouse Turntable Plaza on Saturday to dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. The event was in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, and preliminary counts show that the event raised nearly $2500 and over 400 lbs $3,456 and 380 lbs of food for this great cause. The dance was performed simultaneously around the world at 4:00 pm Vancouver time by 13,042 zombies -- another massive year!.
TTW Vancouver 2010 was organized by Gravel Road Design, Ceroc Vancouver, and the Roundhouse Community Centre. Makeup services were graciously provided by the Vancouver Film School. Many thanks to our prize sponsors: Starbucks Coffee Company, Natural Trekking, Ceroc Vancouver, the Hurricane Grill, Glowbal Grill, the Yaletown Brewing Company, Ethical Bean Coffee, Braden Hammond Glass, and Meet Market Adventures.
